Eillah writes the following about Tangerine :
Tangerine is overall a very good book. I read it twice- once on my own time and then about a year later as a school assignment. Although there are no illustraions, I can picture every bit of it in my mind. Having no illustrations allows the reader to interpret the story in their own way. Just like a movie is often worse than the book because it is different from what YOU imagined it would be, having pictures would not allow me to make my own interpretations. I go into detail on this only topic because I read a review on this site saying they would prefer pictures, which I am against.
I also enjoyed Tangerine because of its involved plotline that makes you feel like you're right there, interacting with the characters.
So read this book becuase you will most likely enjoy it!
