amanda writes the following about Speak :
This was one of those story's that drags you in. It keeps you wondering what's going to happen next. This is an easy story to read and shows you that no matter what may happen and no matter how afraid you may be of something that may have happened to you, it's always better to speak about it, just tell someone. After you read it you will never make fun of that one person that is quiet, that one person who may have done something that got people in trouble, they may have done it for a different reason than you think, they may have done it because something happened to them. Think twice before you tease someone, you should always find out the whole story before you jump to conclusions. What happened to Melinda has happened to a lot of people, me being one of them. What happened to her? You'll have to read the story to find that out. It made me cry a little and laugh a little. Don't take my word for it though, read the story, find out for yourself, you won't regret it.
