Missy writes the following about Speak :

This book was VERY well written. It tells all about the struggles of one girl her first year at High School. She has become a social reject because she called the cops on a party over the summer. All her friends have disowned her, a beast is about, she cant find any new friends, and her art project isnt working out. I loved reading it, and COULD NOT put it down. Its very easy to read and is nicely detailed.
