Holes

The book i will be doing a book review on is the novel Holes. The novel Holes is about a young boy named Stanley Yelnats who is about 13 years old and has just goten in to trouble. One day Stanley is walking home from school and he is walking out from under a freeway pass and all of a sudden these shoes hit Stanley in the head. But, they are not ordinary shoes, they are a famous All Star Baseball player shoes that were being auctioned off to get money for a homeless shelter. So Stanley gets up and just as Stanley is walking away a cop drives by and ammediately thinks that Stanley has stolen them. And that is how Stanley gets in trouble. After thhat Stanley go's to a Jail for under age kids who are for people that are 18 years age or younger. When Stanley gets their it is horrible. Every day they have to dig a hole in the blazing hot sun that is 5 feet all the way around. Stanley must stay in this camp for about two years. It is a great book for all ages. I loved it.
