jon writes the following about Downriver :
Do you like camping and counting, well Jessie and AL do. I will late u know how and what they did.
Jessie and Al go on a camping trip, they have to canoe most of the way. On the first day, they set up their tents and then, they went fishing. When they came back they found a bear in their came site, but it was a little bear.
On the second day, they canoed down the river. On the way down the river, they flipped the canoe on a rock and they did not get it back u right until they came to a small lake. They got back in the canoe and went on.
On the third day, they had to walk up the bank to start a fire for lunch; whole eating they saw a deer and an elk. Then got back in the canoe and started down the river again. They stopped 15 miles down river to make camp.
On the fourth day, they met some people, it was their friends, Fred and Jean, but Fred and Jean are going up river. So, Jessie and AL said good-bye and they kept going down river. They came out at a small pond. They kept going through the pond, and they found the river again.
On the fifth day, they went down the river, and it was going faster and faster again! They find themselves about to go over a waterfall.
Do you think they will make it u will have to find out by reading the book down the river by Will Hobbs.
