Justina writes the following about The Notebook :
Picture a life where everything you need and want, you get, A life where your parents are some of the richest people in town, and your social standings in the community mean more than love it?s self. Would you continue to live this way? Allie and Noah want to prove to the world they can make it, and they will no matter what! The novel, ?The Notebook? written by Nicholas Sparks is truly a two thumbs up award winning book, I thought it was for hopeless-romantics and anyone in between. Although after just a brief summer of love, arguments, and countless days together, Allie and Noah are still very unsure of their relationship and where they stand as a couple. But when faced with the fact that Allie will soon leave her summer home to return to the city for college Noah is heart broken. Surprisingly after Allie left, Noah wrote her everyday for an entire year without any response and finally sent his last ?good bye? letter. Did the letters get to Allie? If she might?ve known about them would she have said yes to the ?perfect man? Lon?s engagement? Her parents were very happy with her decision, but was she? Noah spent the years apart restoring an old farm house just the way Allie pictured it: white with blue shutters and a white fence. When Allie sees Noah?s picture in the paper on the restoration of the house, will that be enough to bring the two broken hearts together a few weeks before Allie is to be married, or will Lon, ?the perfect man?, get the girl? Read the great novel ?The Notebook? to find out!?
