In Jessica's Elementary school she was so popular, her best friend Sheila was always with her and she had tons of friends because she was popular. But now that she is in Middle school Sheila's not even her friend anymore because of the popular girls SCANTA. SCANTA is another word for Sheila-Cathy-Andi-Nancy-Tracy-Amy. They are friends from camp and now that their friends Sheila is ignoring Jessica until Jessica has the cutest boyfriend Conor.
Conor asked Jessica if she wanted to go to a Halloween party hosted by one of the SCANTA girls. Ofcourse Jessica said yes because they would play 7 minutes in heaven. When they were playing 7 minutes in heaven Jessica got picked and decided to pick Conor. They kissed and Jessica really liked it alot. She remembered the first time they kissed at the creek because that was the first time she ever kissed anyone and it was so romantic because the sun was setting. When Jessica and Conor's turn was finished he picked Sheila. One of the SCANTA girls said Sheila said her and Conor kissed for the whole time and she loved it. Jessiac got really angry and when her dad came she was glad.
The next day at school she hung out with the SCANTA girls because they kicked Sheila out of their club. Jessica had to choose between them and Conor so she picked them.
My favorite part was when Jessica and Conor kissed at the creek because the author described how Jessica was feeling.
I would reccomend this book to a girl because it ahs very hard times and lessons in here.
