Trevor writes the following about Stormbreaker :
Imagine being a fourteen year old kid and being an undercover detective. Well, welcome to Alex Riders life in the story Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz. Ever since his uncle, Agent Ian Rider, died, he has had a pretty exciting life.
When Ian Rider is killed, intelligence agency MI6 came to get his nephew, Alex Rider. Alex is then forced to become a spy. He went through all of the training that is needed successfully. What Alex didn?t know is that MI6 already had plans for him. He was going to investigate the new computer called ?Strombreaker? in a plant which was creating the computer. Alex went there as a kid that was supposed to just test out the computer, or that?s what the creator, Herod Sayle, thought.
During Alex?s investigation, he found out that the governor will pull the switch to turn on all of the Stormbreakers. Alex then found out that if the governor does this, many people will die.
In the end, Alex stops the governor, but Herod Sayle gets away. Un expectedly though, Alex meets him in an office with a gun pointed at Alex. From the window, Yassen Gregorovich followed his orders and killed Sayle before alex was shot. According to Yassen, Alex will be killed by him someday, too.
Without Alex, the governor and many others could have died. In this story, Stormbreaker, the action never stops. In this story, Stormbreaker, the action never stops. Alex is always finding out something new, and getting into what you think is trouble. Alex somehow always gets out though. Read this amazing adventure and follow along with Alex Rider.
