Jeevan writes the following about Saving Shiloh :
A young boy named Marty Preston lives in the hills near Friendly, West Virginia. One day a beagle, who he names Shiloh, follows him home. Marty loves this timid beagle and wants to keep him. He finds out the dog belongs to Judd Travers the meanest man in the town. Marty knows Judd does not treat his dogs right and decides he will do whatever it takes to keep this dog. We liked Shiloh because the story captures your heart by showing the love a boy has for a dog. We recommend this book to other students who enjoy reading about pets. Our favorite part was when Marty confronts Judd Travers in order to keep Shiloh. Marty proves he is very brave when he does confront Judd. We also learned a lot about telling the truth because Marty tells many lies in the story, in order to protect Shiloh. We hope you will decide to read this great book!
