Kristen Ziemer writes the following about Number The Stars :
This book was excellent!. It had good detail and it really showed the author's love for this time period {1943}. The book made me feel sad because I sympthozied for Ellen, Annemarie's best friend. The Natzi's are after Ellen's family so, she pretended to be part of Annemarie's family. I was suprised when Annemarie and her family plus Ellen went to visit the house by the sea. Also, I liked how the plot was. It started out ordinery until they see the solider at school. Then, troubles start. I like it when the book does this. This way, the ending will be insteresting and, there is suspense in the middle of the book. Does this book sound good? Well,I think you should read it!
