The book is a truley touching story of a childs willingness to survive and teach others.
David's mother put's her poor child through mental and physical torture, to the extremes that most of us would find hard to imagine. Yet still the book illustrates how no mater what a mother doe's to or takes away from a child their is nothing more forgiving than a childs love, and need to be accepted.
