Kelsey writes the following about Where the Red Fern Grows :
This book is about a boy who wants dogs. So he works all summer and goes to town and gets his dogs. He raises them to be a very good hunting team. His grandfather enters them in a hunting tournament. They win!!! They go hunting one night and Little Ann and Old Dan (his dogs) save him from a mountain lion. They're hurt pretty bad too. To find out what happens to his dogs read the book.
