Jacob N. writes the following about Bud, Not Buddy :
Bud, Not Buddy is a wonderful Historical Fiction, it is a classic with many humorous points. Bud is a ten year old boy who is on a journey to survive the horrible things that happen to him. First it's vampires and next it's bees, what else could possibly happen?!!! He found out his mom thatdied wen he was six had clues of who his father was, just from Bud's cloase objects that his mother used to use. As he finds where he really belongs, every thing is a happy ending.
What I agree with a review is that at the beginning of the book, it is nice and steady, although later in the story it gets a little rushed. It is a good book still, every one has to end a book once in a while, I still enjoyed it very very much. Now what I disagree with a review is that it had said most of the book was humorous, it probably woudn't be so good if it was very funny. That's why it is original in a unic kind of way. I agree that some parts are, but not all of it. That was how it is my most favorite Historical Fiction book.
I do recommend others to read Bud, Not Buddy because it is a very great book. It also is because it would have others to understan to go after things that you want, exactly what Bud did. If he wouldn't have done what he did, he would of had a bad ending. My other reason why the book, Bud, Not Buddy, is recommended to others because he wrote the book so every one would understand to talk to your grandparents, ask them what they learned growing up before it's to late.
