Andy Kincaid writes the following about The Watsons Go to Birmingham--1963 (Newbery Honor Book, 1996, No 2) :
This book called The Watsons Go To Birmingham, and the author was Christopher Paul Curtis.I would rate this book about 8 1/2 and 9.
I would recondmend for anyone that knows how to read. This book had alot of emotion in it. The saddest part to this book is the part after the last chapter. This is one of my favorite books even know i've read a whole bunch of novels. Well this is on of the best books in a long long time. But it has the worst ending i have ever seen in my life it needs more stuff, but other than that it was awesome!!!
