Brittany r writes the following about The Watsons Go to Birmingham--1963 (Newbery Honor Book, 1996, No 2) :
The book, The Watsons go to Birmingham is a great book that covers all moods. There is happy, sad, angery, funny. This book is about a bad kind named Byron. A little kid that cries a lot, her name is Joetta(the sister of By and Kenny). And a kid that is kind of neerdy his name is Kenny. By was allows being bad so he was goanna spend the summer and maybe the summer at his grandma sands. This book is for readers that like funny book. I would Redmond this book to ages from 10-16.The only thing is that it has some inpropit language in it but that just makes the book more funny for the reader.
