Bigkrony writes the following about Left Behind :
This book is the best book I have ever read.
Have you ever been left behind?
Imagine in one second millions of people all over the earth suddenly disappear, loved ones disappear right in front of family members faces .Raeford Steele a commercial airline pilot and (Buck) Cameron Williams a reporter for a very successful magazine are left behind. Raeford doesn?t know why he was left behind nor dose Cameron. All of a sudden a leader of which the bible fore told named Nicole Carpathia comes to power. The bible also says that a single leader would come to power and miss lead the people. Raeford and Cameron must now rebel against the up coming Carpathia and try to find out what happened to there loved ones.
I would rate this book, 9 out of 10 because it kind of got slow at some parts but some of those parts are very important. One of my favorite parts is in the beginning when a lot of people disappear on the plane Raeford is flying and there is this old lady sitting next to her husband. Her husband disappears right in front of her and she freaks out, she says something like ?excuse me have you seen my husband he was sitting by me just a minute a go.? They check the bathroom, and he?s not there. They look on the seat, and there are his clothes neatly folded with his hearing aid and his glasses.
I liked the way the author wrote the book so that a kid could read it and understand in vivid detail. I think the authors could make the slow parts flow better by putting in more descriptive details. This book reminds me of another book, Red Wall, because in both there is more than one main character. The theme is that we should not always go with the flow; we should sometimes be an individual.
