Megan (Mel) writes the following about Fever 1793 :
Do you wish for good non-ficton books? Then Larie Anderson Haile has granted your wish. In my opinion Fever 1793 is a 10 star book. Fever 1793 is a book of adventure and will excite you as you go into the past to philadelphia. When yellow fever strikes. The main charater,Maddie, lives with her widowed mother and grandfather at thier coffeehouse. Its the summer of 1793 and people think it is a normal summer, until someone dies of yellow fever. Then more and more people start coming down with and dying from yellow fever. It forces Maddie and her grandfather to flee the city. Will they survie this yellow fever stricken city, or will they have the same fate and die of yellow fever?
