renegade writes the following about Frozen Fire :
The book frozen fire concerns a boy named Matthew and his dad who take an airplane to the Canadian Arctic. The journey is planned so Mats dad can look for valuable minerals. As the plane is landing the plane slips and skids but the pilot regains control and they land safely in Frobisher.
When they get into the airport Matthew meets a Inuit boy named Kayak. While mats dad goes out looking for these valuable minerals, a huge snowstorm hits. His dad gets lost in the freezing wilderness. So now it?s up to Mat and Kayak to save him. Out in the snow they encounter things far worse than geography. Half way out there they ran out of fuel and were forced to walk back to Frobisher. Little do they know what they will encounter on their journey? Read it you might find something useful.
