Are you one of the people who like books with a happy beginning and a sad ending? Well, if so, then Because of Winn-Dixie is a good book for you. This must be a good book because it won a Newberry award.The setting is in Naomi,Florida. Opal is a ten-year-old girl and she's the one who found Winn-Dixie, but you'll have to read to find out who Winn-Dixie is. If I could change something in this story,I wouldn't change anything.I would give it a 9 on a scale 1-10.That is my book review on Because of Winn-Dixie and the author is Kate Dicamillo.I hope you will take some time and just sit down and read the book, Because of Winn-Dixie.
