Harry potter and the sorcerer?s stone
Harry potter is a mystical and extraordinary piece of writing by J.K. Rowling.
The story takes place at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry were he soon finds out that he is famous in the Wizarding world. On his way to Hogwarts he makes a few new friends named Hermione Granger and Ron Wesley. Unfortunately for Harry he also makes a few new enemies named Draco Malfoy, Crab, and Goyle and they are very determined to make Harry?s life as miserable as they possibly can at Hogwarts.
I would give Harry Potter and the Sorcerers stone a 9 because I think that it is an amazing book with outstanding detail on the characters. The Author can put a picture in my head of what the characters look and act like. She did an incredible job with picking the teachers and what the teachers act like and she did an exceptional job with the details of Harry?s new found talent in the game of qudditch.
The Author did a great job with the Dursleys as well. She described them hating Harry. Mr. Dursley was a big fat beefy man with no neck. Ms. Dursley was a thin blonde haired women with a long neck that was used to look over their fence and spy on the neighbors gardens to make sure hers was better in every possible way. Their son Dudley was snobbish spoiled brat and loved to beet up on Harry.
Harry Potter is a 11 year old boy with baggy clothes and broken glasses. He is always picked on by Dudley until his life takes a bazaar turn of events and he finds out who is parents were and what happened to them. He also finds out he is famous and why he is famous.
