fiddlegurl13 writes the following about The Wave :
MR Ross, the social studies teacher at a high school in California teaches his students about how eazy it would have been to be a Natzi in Germany. He starts out in controll, but soon becomes carried away. Students feel equal, and members of the wave soon start spreading word to the foot ball team and other classes. The only student who resists is Laurie Saunders, the presedent of the school news paper, the Grapevine. Laurie meets opisition with her boy friend, best friend, and other classmates. when her boyfriend hits her, he realizes he was carred away too, and he joins Laurie in pursuading Mr. Ross to quit. Mr Ross shows the wave members Adolf Hitler, and explains to them how they were perfect natizies.
