This is one of the greatest books I have read in a long time! I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to read a lot..but this book makes you want to keep reading it and reading it..and never letting it down! The story takes place in upstate NY. April(the main character) has a brain tumor..she has had them off and on starting at the age of 5. Aril meets Mark Gianni(other main charcter) in a hospital where she is getting treated at. Mark notices her and says to him self "Shes Beautiful!" He falls head-over-heels for her which later leads to them getting married. But before they got married Mark had a horrible accident when he was racing automobiles. Marks favorite thing to do was race cars and work on them. But Mark had a diease CF (cistic fibrosis)..which is a life threating illness and which he can never get rid of. So when Mark had that horrible accident he had to go to the hospital and the Doctors told him and his family including April that he had a very small chance of living CF affects your lungs and Mark's lungs had inhaled all kinds of smokes and checmicals..April tells her father to go get her dress that she had got for their wedding and said I want this to be the last thing he remebers at least, he'll get to see the wedding. So her father gets the dress and she walks into the hospital room with it on and Mark said "BEAUTIFUL" in a croaky tone barely able to talk, and they said " I love you " to each other and then Mark pases away. This book is very sad make sure you always have a kleenex with you! Make sure to read the sequel to the book "FOR BETTER OR WORSE"
