Mr. Spinelli is a superb author and his talent really shows in this book. "Loser" is a really touching story about a boy named Donald Zinkoff. I believe that Donald should be a role model to everyone- he is really an optimist. Donald never- or if ever, rarely- sweats the small stuff and has fun with the game. He never cares whether he wins or not if he's just having fun. If we all learn to be just a little bit like Donald, the world will be a better place. This had to be one of favorite book out of all the books I've read.
