Have you ever wondered what a girl goes through when she is pressured into doing something that she refuses to do and then ends up losing her social life and friends? Then she slowly stops talking. If you are anxious to know then pick up this book.


This story about a teenage girl named Melinda. During the summer at a party Melinda was partying outside the house of the party with her friend Rachel a guy named Andy who is the hottest guy around ask Melinda to dance then ends up pressuring her into sex and raps her. Melinda runs into the house were the party is and calls the police crashing the party caused some boys to get arrested. Rachel and other people totally think Melinda had over reacted and ruin a good party. So, Rachel stopped being her friend and everyone hates and she becomes an outcast.


As soon as she enters school her freshmen year everyone calls her names behind her back and picks on her. Melinda decides not to speak unless she has to and so no one would have a reason to embarrass her or hate her. Melinda becomes a friend with a girl named with Heather who was trying to get them into a social group so they wouldn't be outcast there freshmen year but, ends up dumping Melinda because she thinks Melinda is the most negative and hateful person. Melinda doesn't care too much about being in a group and thinks Heather wasn't her type of friend she would usually hang out. She just wanted to have someone to tell about what happen at that party that night. She draws to the conclusion that she needs to tell someone before it really eats her ALIVE!


Melinda is a girl needing to tell her feelings she if she does then who is it?.
