this is one of the greatest books i have ever read.this book is about a 3rd child name luke garner.third children are not to be by the population police.if parents have a 3rd child they have to kill it.but what happens when a couple decides to not kill there 3rd son?luke use to play in his back yard with his brothers matthew and mark.until one day they find out new houses are being built in by the woods.they are baron houses.one day luke looks out the window and see's 2 kids.then there appears a nother one.he already know's 3 children exist.so when no ones at home.luke decides to wait till everybodys not home.so he risks hs life of being seen to go over to a 3rd childs home.so he sneaks over and breaks in.then an alarm goes off.so he runs up the stairs hopin someones not home and hide.but what does he find?a girl.she asks what he is doing here.he saids he wanted to find out who she was.so they talk.he starts sneakin over ther every day.then one day she tells him about this rally she is planning.that all 3rd children come to the rally and speak out.she asks if luke would like to go.does he dare? he said no it is to dangerous.so in april lots of 3rd children go to the rally.then when they get there they are all shot and killed.one day luke snook over ther after the rally.he didnt no they got killed.he snook over ther one day and found her dad mr.talbot.he asks what he is doin her and luke asked where is jen? he was standi still and said"she got shot in the rally".he satrts cryin.he asks she was shot in the rally? he noded.he was like i could of been killed in there.her dad asked you knew about the rally?he noded.why didnt u stop her he asked? well luke said it was so hard cause she is so brave.after a few months, he gave luke a fake identification card.his new identy uis lee grant.then he gets sent to this hendricks school for boys.mr.talbot works for the population police.but for against the cause.read the other books to find out the rest.
