The Hatchet

The book, The Hatchet, was a great book. The first chapter really got my attention; it pulled me into the book. It wasn't the best book, but it wasn't bad. The Hatchet is about a teenage boy who is going to visit his dad. While Brian was on the way to the airport, his mom gives him this hatchet. At the time Brian isn't very excited, but later the hatchet saves his life. Brian arrives at the airport after a long tiring ride. While they are in the air the pilot lets him fly the plan. During the flight the pilot suffers from a sever heart attack. Brian flies the plan down and lands it. He is all alone out in the middle of nowhere, and only has a hatchet. He has to learn how to survive and how to find his own food. If you are an outdoors adventurous person than you should read this book.
