the series of books called heartland by lauren brook are fantastic and hard to put down.they are about a girl called amy who has been through emotional and painfull times.there are more than 17 in the series with more to come.amy and her family run a stables called heartland witch heals horses emotionally and physicly.heartland uses alternative remedies and therepies to cure scared and brocken horses.amy runs heartland with a stable hand clalled ty and you see him go through hard times aswell.heartland is all these posotive things and more because of the gripping storyline.they are aimed at children aged 9-12.although it is fictional it is true in your heart and you can feel the emotion all the way through the books.amys character is bold but friendly.she knows whats shes doing and stands up for what she thinks is right.heartland i would recomend to most people but i am still number 1 fan!
