I read a book called The river. The main charactars are Brian Robenson, and Derek. Two years ago Brian was on a plane and it crashed. He had to live in the widerness with nothing but a hatchet. Derek a person from the goverment comes they go out again. I would give this book a 6.5. I would give it this because it was packed with action and I was never bored reading this book. I would give this a higher grade if it explaineed some things a little better. Read the book The river to find out about Brian and Derek's problems. You should read Hatchet first because The River is the sequal to Hatchet.
