I think that Slam is a good book. It tells about a boy who is 17 yrs. old and he is a great basketball player.But he is going through a lot in his life. He isn't doing so well in school and his grandmother is very sick.She is so sick she is on her death bed. He wants to go to the NBA after he finishes high school and college. If he dosen't pull his grades up he want do so good in life. Slam runs the basketball court. but he hangs with the wrong croud.
