Luke Garner is a boy in a family of 5. But, according to the Population Law, he isn't supposed to be alive, but only because of a shortage of food. Luke has two brothers, and he is supposed to be hidden because his family loves him to much to let the Population Police get him. If they do ever hand him over, or if he is found, he will be killed. This book is exciting and adventerous, if you want to find out what happens to the Garner family, I really do reccomend reading this book.
