Where Are The Children by Mary Higgins Clark was a really terriffic book with great characters, but near the end they got confusing. The Criminal was really someone else and it complicated everything. He was someone from the woman's past that had changed his name and his entire life. Its theme was the best thing about it though, this woman's kids were kidnapped and a couple of years earlier the same thing happed, but they found the kids dead. That was seven years earlier and the next day her husband commited suicide. Her ghastly memory still haunted her seven years later even though she was also remarried. The point of view was in a third person point of view but I think that it would have been better if it was in the mother's point of view. She was really weird and it would have been more interesting to hear more about what she thought, especially since everything added up to her memories in the end. This book was very interesting and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys exciting mysteries.
