.::??bŷ ĜūŕĻ::. writes the following about A Corner of the Universe :
A Corner of The Universe is set in the 1950's. This book is about a girl named Hattie Owen. She lives a normal life until her Uncle Adam comes back. Hattie doesn't even have a clue she had an Uncle. What is srange about her Uncle is that he has a mental problem. Hattie goes through some tough times in the begining but as the story progresses Hattie develops and becomes an emotional and sympathetic 12 year old. What happens in the end is so unexpected...
This book is an emotional novel, I think everyone should read. At first when I picked up the book I thought it would be one of those girly friendship books but when I read a page out of the book it captivated me into this world I didn't know and wouldn't have explored until this book was in my possession. A great read I recommend this to anyone who is willing to be immersed into a world they will never know or a world they will never experience.... -.::??bŷ ĜūŕĻ::.
