Abby N. writes the following about Frozen Fire :
In Frozen Fire a young boy named Matthew has to move to the Canadian Arctic with his father, Dr. Morgan, a geologist. Dr. Morgan is hoping to find riches underneath the Arctic surface. After only a few days Matthew makes an Eskimo friend named Kayak and a storm is coming. It would be okay if Dr. Morgan wasn?t going out when the storm hit. After Dr. Morgan didn?t come back Kayak and Matthew go on a journey to find Dr. Morgan, using Kayak?s smarts on Eskimo ways and Matthew?s smarts on American ways.

This book deserves a 10. I Think Frozen Fire was one of a kind. This magnificent book just made me want to read more and more. James Houston made the book come to life as I read. I love how he didn?t put in a lot of detail in .I give this book a two thumbs up.
