This book is a great book. I like how it was about two different gangs, (like the Bloods and the Crips, but instead it?s the Socs and the Greasers); the Socs have a lot of money, Mustangs, Stingrays, and madras. The Greasers are totally different they have old beat up trucks and busted- up convertibles, and the Greasers have not much money, and they wear black t-shirts. Then when Johnny and Ponyboy came back from Windrixville Ponyboy and Derry became closer. Before the rumble Randy the Socs and Ponyboy the Greasers had a little talk about the rumble. Randy didn?t like how the two gangs would fight and whoever would win they?d forget about it the next day. Randy did not show for the rumble.
