Jimmy writes the following about To Kill a Mockingbird :
Jem, Dill and Scout, three southern kids, explore the world of racism when Atticus Finch, Scout and Jem?s father, defends a black man accused of raping a white man?s daughter, Mayella. Atticus truly believes his defendant is innocent and tries to prove that but the town?s people just see him as a black man who just doesn?t belong. The three kids become more mature and learn what growing up really means.
