Manhattan Diva writes the following about Hatchet :

I read the book the Hatchet for school and ENJOYED IT very much.Brian suffers very much and I feel he is a true survivor. I feel that the ending is puzzling to me because of how Brian reacts when he comes home.I reccomend this book to anyone because it is full of adventure and suspense. I rate this book a 10 because this tragic scene can happen to anyone in real life. I LOVE THIS BOOK but not the ending.
