After reading The Wizard of Earthsea, I would give it a three out of ten as the book was too complicated and the story line was too predictable. Ged is a young boy when his talent for wizadry is discovered and his Aunt teaches him to be a wizard. When he is older, surprise, surprise, he becomes a famous wizard and battles dragons and saves women in distress. This story is rather like a take off of old story that was supposed to scare children back before I ws born.
On the other hand, I would give the illustrations a nine out of ten as they, in a way, described what the next chapter would be based on.
I would reccomend this book for anyone who wants to read the same page continuously until they finally comprehend what the aithor is trying to make you visualise.
