My Side of the Mountain is an excellent book. This book is about a boy named Sam that runs away to a mountain and meets a hawk named Frightful and a wacky weasle named Baron. I liked the details so much because they made me feel like I was right in the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys books. In fact, My Side of the Mountain is one of the best books I've ever read!
