Tangerine is definitely one of my favorite books of all time. Edward Bloor really knew what he was doing with all the soccer action, and the story also went pretty in-depth in horticulture when Paul and his friends help out at the citrus farm. The characters were unique and believable, in the not-quite-realistic-but-possible-and-fun-to-read-about-anyway setting of Tangerine, Florida. There was action all throughout the book, with emotion and psychology in all the right places, too. Kudos to Edward Bloor on this awesome story!
