Kayla Dasilva writes the following about A Child Called 'It' :

This book is a great book!! This book is about a child named dave and he was abused when he was a child. When he was abused he had to live in the basement and his father would not abuse him but his father would not do anything. In one part of the story which was very very sad was his mom burned him by putting his hand on the stove for no reason. Also another part that was very very sad was his mom told him to finish the dishes in 5 minutes or she would kill him and... well i am not goin to tell you anymore you are goin to have to read it your self... but overall i would give this book a 9 because he was a very very very good book but it had alot of details but i would definatly say you should read this book.
