Rachel writes the following about Girls in Tears :
Girls in Tears, the fourth in Jacqueline Wilson's 'Girls in Love' series, following on from Girls in Love, Girls under Pressure and Girls out Late is a great teenage read. Ellie, Magda and Nadine, three best friends, all aged fourteen are the main characters of this book, which is written as Ellie's diary. With tales of all their boy trouble, family trouble, friendship trouble and much more as the story unfolds, there is never a dull moment. Tears are wept and tissues sniffled into throughout, with Ellie's romance with Russell falling apart, Magda's hamster dying (Ellie and Nadine didn't know she still had him) and Nadine meeting a boy on the internet and Magda and Ellie having to remind her of all the dangers. However, the girls stay friends and help each other through these testing times. A great book, entertainment for all teenage girls. this is a story everyone should read.
