Mittee writes the following about "The Chapters Of Life" :
Letter # 19: From the book,"The Chapters Of Life". Written by Daryl D. Worcester. ISBN #1-4137-3414-6 (Is There Any Room?) The heart of man is a mansion with many rooms.Rooms that we fill with our most valued treasures.Yet in some of these rooms there is stored evil practices, held onto,or just hidden away in a closet. These little closets are our own haunting. It is not like we want to keep them, but I feel God leaves them there to be an ever reminder of the way we were and as a testing ground to build perseverance.Satan dwells on these areas because he knows these are our weakest areas of life. As we go throught the testing of our hearts, we find there is a lot of painful, miscalculated errors that cause terrible heartaches, not only to us,but to others also. We find ourselves saying harmful things and go through feelings of regret. We can be thankful there are those people who hold onto forgiveness and understanding. The Bible quotes in Jeremiah 3:15," Then I will give you shepards after My own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding." This is what God did for the children of Israel and He opened salvations door to all who believe in Jesus.Do you think God will watch over us in the same manner? As we work through our own plan of salvation, we must not cause our fellow associates to fall into our hearts nasty little rooms. We must seek God's help and overcome each hurtle as we come to them. I have learned as I open up myself to these temptations and let God's hand guide me through them, they are destroyed and I feel I have gone to the next level against Satan.I do not seem to have a problem at all with them. A sample is drinking alcohol. I asked God to remove this 15 years ago and ever since then, no problem.Satan has tried his best to make my life so bad that I was supposed to be tempted. NOT! This is one of the areas of my life God has permanently taken out.Satan does not bother me in this area no more because he is defeated there. If you a former of drinker of alcohol, and are attending a group to help you, believe me there is a Higher Power. I believe it is a life long endeavor to weed out and have full control of our life's temptations. We can be strong or we can be weak, it does not matter. All God wants is our fellowship with Him and our dependence on Him to overcome these situations. God created man to have fellowship with Him. Don't you think the greatest thing on this planet is to walk hand in hand with our Creator? Jeremiah 17:19 says, "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" Pretty plain and simple, as the Words of God are always few and cut through the bologna of life. As we look on, God's Word also brings relief from the pressure of His Word on our hearts. In the same chapter and up a few verses, verse #7 says,"But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him." and verse #10 says,"I, the Lord, search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve." You are not going to be perfect in all your ways but as you rely on God to guide you, where can you go wrong?Obedience and faith brings a sure reward. In the letter #9, In The Beginning, I had mentioned about our hearts having knowledge of God and His existance from birth and now I want you to realize this letter has brought this fact to light. In Ecclesiastes 3:11 God's Word touches our heart,"He has made everything beautiful in it's time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fantom what God has done from beginning to end."It is in hearts our Heavenly Father began a good work and it is here we will find peace with God.Hold on to what you have inside and bind the devil from what he thinks he has.Let today be a new beginning of life,in your heart.
