Louisa writes the following about Why I Am Afraid of Bees :
This book isn't one of my favorites for a simple reason; it uses an overused concept. No, it's not a misplaced switching, it's the thought of switching itself.
So a kid needs a vacation from himself, and he sees an ad on the computer to switch bodies with someone. Only problem is, he switches with a BEE! Uh, we could see that coming a mile away. The point of the story is to be a plot that keeps us suspenseful. WIAAOB (Why I Am Afraid of Bees) fails to qualify that.
Now, the ending isn't one of the greatest. The protagonist gets back his body and so does the person who previously occupied it.
Except for the concept, this was a good story. Just needs to be a little more original.
