madeleine writes the following about To Kill a Mockingbird [UNABRIDGED] :
To Kill A Mockingbird is set in Maycomb, a quiet uneventful town in Alabama in the 1930s.It is written through the eyes of Scout and Jem Finch.Written in first person by a six year old girl in the prose style of a well-educated adult. It is the heart-felt story of two young children growing up in the midst of their towns predjudice, ignorance and bigatory. It is the story of their experiences as their father (a lawer) defends a black man against the ultimate crime, the rape white girl.
