kirsty writes the following about noughts and crosses :
In the book 'Noughts and crosses'the main story is about discrimination over colours of skin. A boy called callum and a girl called sephy are very good frienda and have been sice they were young but meet up together without their parents permission because they know their parents would not agree to them seeing each other because sephy is white skinned and callum is black skinned and they treat each other badly. Sephy and callum are the main characters but their families are also quite important characters. Sephy is a white skinned teenerger who is kind and rich whereas callum is a black skinned confused teenager aho is poor. the part of the book I enjoyed the most is when callum is fed up of the school treating him as they do because he is the only black skinned person there and he has a fight. It helps you to see how stongly he feels. I like the way the book is written in turn eg. one chapter one sephy, chapter two callum. It helps to see things from their point of wiew and undersatnd what they are going through
