Laguna writes the following about Child of an Alcoholic to Daughter of the King :

This is a very dramatic and thought provoking story of Christine's life. The things she was made to go through and her attitude are remarkable. This book will be a help to untold thousands, abused, not believed, it's inspiration to go on, it's determination to get through things with out getting a bad attitude or self image. This is a great book for all ages, it gives hope, makes you cry, makes you laugh, really recomend this read.
