The Burn Unit writes the following about The Big Box :
This story is about three kids who can't handle their freedom so they are put in a big brown box with three looks and only opens one way. The two themes of the story is one: Kids can't handle their freedom. The second one: you can't always have your way. These themes are important because this relates to real life. The illustrations really stand out and we enjoyed looking at them and flipping through the pages. One thing we would have done to make the story better is describe more of their behavior of the kids. and have their own defintion of freedom. i would recommend this book to people in jail because they can't handle their freedom.
