Cherise writes the following about Mary-Kate and Ashley Sweet 16 :
Mary-Kate goes on a trip with Diana Donovan, a famous movie star, and her daughter Danielle. They go on this trip to see Diana finish her latest movie, ?Killer Boyfriend?. Mary-Kate changes her name to Mikki while she is there. Mikki is a bossy Mary-Kate, which means Mikki is acting like a spoilt star and wants everything done her way. When she is there she spends most of her time behind the scenes or acting like a star, and loves to hang out with Danielle and the stars? children. When it is time to go home Mikki wishes she could stay longer. When Mikki comes home Ashley and the rest of Mikki?s friends can?t put-up with the new Mary-Kate, Mikki, any longer. Will Mikki end up taking over the play that Ashley has been working on,or will she be back to normal before the opening of the play. Mary-Kate and Ashley Sweet 16 All that Glitters is about how change is not always good and teaches you to appreciate you, your family and friends, just the way they are. This book is great for teens who are going through some tough times and wish they could undo their mistakes. By:Cherise Pantin
