nathaniel writes the following about Bud, Not Buddy :
Bud,Not Buddy is a very unique story that shows the life of a young black boy during the Great Depression. This book answers many questions about racism, surivival and belonging and love. In this novel, the author gives us a better knowledge of how living as a independent young child would be like during the era of the Great Depression. I would recommend this book to children and adults because it shows many historical events that still take place in our modern world. Reading this magnificent book will lets you pursue further and further into this book allowing you to grasp the idea and meaning of this great novel.
