Candee writes the following about Walk Two Moons :
This was a great book about a 13 year old girl named Salamanca Tree Hiddle who encounters many difficulties such as her mother deceasing and she didnt even had the chance to say good-bye. Salamanca now has to move to a new town and practically start a new life with her dad. But, before she can settle down to start a new-life she must go to Boise,Idaho to see the grave of her mother. Thats were her wild stories about Phoebe Winterbottom, a new friend, start. She stops very often throughout her roadtrip with her radical ,full of life granparents and in one of those stops the time for her grandmother to leave the earth comes. I suggest you read this funny story about a girl's friends, enemies and difficulties and enjoy it I'm sure you'll agree with me this book is very worthy of its Newberry Medal.
